College achievements

The Class of 2021 has done an incredible job in their HSC exams despite facing a difficult year last year! Congratulations to all our students for their hard work and efforts, and a special congratulations to the distinguished achievers who achieved a Band 6 in one or more of their subjects.

Here are some of the highlights from the Class of 2021’s HSC performance:

  • Wollemi had 23 students sit a total of 117 examinations
  • The students achieved 17 Band 6s (90% or above), which is 14.5% of our course results and 40 Band 5s (80% or above) which is 34.1% of our total course results
  • In addition, results from 13 out of 18 subjects were above the state average.

Special mentions go to:

  • Yohann M received the Premier's Award on the All-Rounders list which requires a Band 6 in 10 units or more. He scored a Band 6 in all of his subjects. Excellent work Yohann!
  • Matthew C only just missed out on the Premier's Award achieving a Band 6 in all but one of his subjects!
  • Miguelle C, Daniel N and Jerome T achieved a Band 5 or 6 in all their subjects.

Well done boys, your hard work has definitely paid off!

“The HSC is a long and gruelling race in and of itself. Last year these students had to contend with significant disruptions, multiple delays and a lengthy period of uncertainty. All finishers are to be thoroughly commended. On behalf of the Class of 2021 and their parents, I thank all the teachers and mentors who have supported the boys over the years. I also thank the entire Wollemi community for their prayers for these boys, and ask you to continue offering the same support for our current Year 12 students.”

- James Ramos, Headmaster
