Our Year 3 and Year 5 classes performed well above the national average in all five cohorts. Reading, writing and spelling were where the students really shone.
Our Headmaster, Mr James Ramos, said in an interview with the Daily Telegraph, “There has been a marked increase in higher bands over time in Years 3 and 5. Considering the disruptions students have experienced over the last three years, seeing results continue to improve over time is very encouraging. The excellent results in reading, writing and spelling were thanks to the school’s strategic focus on literacy skills across the last two years."
Years 3, 5, 7 and 9 achieved above or well above the national average across all learning areas. The secondary school also ranked 26th in Western Sydney with their results. Well done Wollemi!
With students, parents, mentors and teachers consistently working together, our combined efforts ensure that every child has the opportunity to reach their full potential. Read The Daily Telegraph's full story here.
